Maryhill's Stonehenge Memorial was built by Sam Hill to honor
citizens of Klickitat County who died in World War I. It is
also now dedicated to the dead of more recent war. The
memorial's design is based on the more famous structure in
Stonehenge, England. Both the museum and the memorial sites
offer excellent views of the river. |
