Port Angeles Port Angeles is in Clallam County at the northern end of the Olympic Peninsula facing the Strait of Juan de Fuca to the north and the Olympic Mountains to the south. It is an important port city providing pilots for ships transiting the Puget Sound as well as ferry services to Victoria on Vancouver Island in British Columbia.
