Roanoke Regional Airport (ROA)

Airport Description:  Roanoke Regional Airport (ROA) (Woodrum Field) is served by national and regional carriers with direct flights to other cities in the eastern and mid-western United States.  The airport's official web site has schedule information for carriers and destinations as well as information about general aviation services.

Airport Location:  The airport terminal is approximately 6 miles north of downtown Roanoke.

Highway Connections:  Interstate 581 (Exit 3/Hershberger Road NW) is to the south of the airport terminal.  It connects to the west with Interstate 81 in Roanoke.

Highway Routes from the Airport:  From the airport take I-581 north to connection with I-81 which runs north to Lexington, Staunton and Harrisonburg.  Southbound I-81 leads to Blacksburg and Tennessee.
