Avenue southbound to 242nd Avenue and Hogan Drive then Burnside Road eastbound to

at Powell Valley Road
There is a viewpoint
providing excellent views of the river and a historical marker
adjacent to westbound lanes east of Exit 22. Lieutenant
William Broughton sailed HMS Chatham to this point on October 30,
1792 to explore the Columbia River as part of an expedition for the
British Admiralty under the command of Captain George Vancouver.
Exit 28:
Bridal Veil connection eastbound to and westbound from the
Historic Columbia River Highway
at the Angel's Rest Trailhead. There is not an eastbound
on-ramp nor a westbound off-ramp.
A frontage
road runs to the east on the south side of the freeway from the
Historic Columbia River Highway near Exit 35 to connect with
Interstate 84 eastbound east of Warrendale. This
frontage road also provides access for eastbound traffic to
Warrendale.

Scenic and

This exit
provides a connection to the frontage road on the south side of
Interstate 84 that is an extension of the western section of the
Historic Columbia River Highway
State Park
The John B. Yeon State Park
is on the south side of the freeway to the east of Warrendale.
Westbound traffic can use Exit 37.
The
Bonneville Dam Historic District includes the areas adjacent to
Interstate 84 in Oregon and state route
WA14 in
Washington at the south and north ends of the dam
