Interstate 405 in Seattle

This highway log runs south from Interstate 5, north of Seattle, to the east of Seattle and rejoins I-5 at Tukwila, south of Seattle, near the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport.

Interstate 405 is usually the most efficient option for drivers to reach points to the north or south of Seattle if they do not have a need to stopover in the city.  A check of traffic conditions is usually advisable to avoid problems that may occur on I-405 or I-5, especially during morning and evening commute hours.
