The US Fish and Wildlife Service has a large number of locations throughout the United States that will appeal to travelers with an interest in nature, wildlife, archeology and history.

Visit Florida is the state's official web site for promotion of tourism.  It is multi-lingual (French, German, Japanese, Portuguese and Spanish) and provides and excellent introduction to the state attractions and facilities that will be of interest to tourists.

Florida's State Parks are among the state's greatest attractions, and this web site is an excellent source of information to learn where the parks are and what they have to offer.  

The Traveler Information web pages published by the Department of Transportation's are highly recommended as part of your travel planning if you will be driving in Florida.

Floripedia:  A Florida Encyclopedia is published on-line by the Florida Center for Instructional Technology, College of Education, University of South Florida and is an excellent resource for information about Florida's history, culture, people and other topics.

The web site of the Office of Cultural and Historical Programs is published by the Department of State.  This web site is an excellent resource for acquiring information about historical, archaeological, museum, arts, and folk culture matters in Florida. 

The Florida Association of Museums web site is an excellent resource for discovering the many and varied museums around the state.
