Santa Maria Public Airport (SMX)

Santa Maria Public Airport-Captain G. Allan Hancock Field (SMX) is a small regional airport in Santa Barbara County in south-central California with connecting flights to Los Angeles International Airport.  The airport's official web site has airline and flight information.  The airport also provides charter and general aviation services.

Location: The airport is located 5 miles/8 km south of downtown Santa Maria.

Highway Connections:  Roads from the airport connect to the Betteravia Road and Santa Maria Way exits on US101.  State route CA135 on the west side of the airport runs north to central Santa Maria and southbound to CA1 and Vandenberg AFB and Lompoc.
