Location: The airport is located in Santa Barbara County in central-south California.  It is a short distance southeast of downtown Santa Ynez and about 29 miles / 47 km northwest of downtown Santa Barbara via state route CA154.  Solvang is about 4 miles / 7 km to the west.

Highway Connections:  The airport is adjacent to and on the south side of state route CA246 which leads westbound to Solvang, Buellton and Lompoc.
