Crescent City/Del Norte County Airport (CEC)

Crescent City-Del Norte County Airport-Jack McNamara Field is a small, regional airport with direct flights to other airports in California.  The airport also provides general aviation services.

Location: Northwest of the city of Crescent City, about 3.5 miles from downtown.

Highway Connections: The airport is approximately 3 miles/5 km to the west of the Washington Blvd exit from US101, the Redwood Highway, which runs parallel to the coast.

Distances and Routes to major points in the area: Via Pebble Beach Drive and Fifth Street to downtown - 3.5 miles/5 km. West on Washington Blvd, then south on Northcrest Drive to US101 southbound to Front Street (3.8 miles/6 km).  West on Washington Blvd. then north on Northcrest Drive to Pelican Bay State Penitentiary (9 miles/14 km) and Fort Dick (9.7 miles/16 km).  Distances to other destinations can be checked using our highway logs for US101 and US199.

Car Rentals: Car rentals are provided by a local agency.

Parking: Parking facilities are available on the airport grounds.

Ground Transportation: Local taxi services are available from the airport.  The Del Norte County Public Transit System provides regional services.

Possible alternate airports:  Arcata-Eureka in northern California and North Bend-Coos Bay in Oregon may be suitable alternate airports for ground destinations in this region.
