North Shields

North Shields is in North Tyneside in Tyne & Wear in northeastern England and provides maritime port services for Newcastle Upon Tyne and the northeast of England.  It is 8 miles/12 km east of Newcastle.

Ferry Services:

DFDS Seaways operates a route between Newcastle and Ijmuiden/Amsterdam (Holland) and another between Newcastle and Kristiansand (Vest (West) Agder, Norway) and Gothenburg (Gøteborg och Bohus, Sweden) 

The Fjord Line has a service between Newcastle and Bergen (Hordaland, Norway), Haugesund and Stavanger (Rogaland, Norway).
