Welcome to the City and Province of Prato

The province of Prato is to the north of Florence in the Tuscany region in the north-central area of Italy, north of Rome.  The web site for the province (only in Italian) and tourism pages on the province's web site (multi-lingual) have information on a variety of topics of local interest, including culture, travel and tourism.

Airport:  Pisa International Airport - Galileo Galilei has commercial passenger services to domestic and European airports as well as charter flights.    Florence Amerigo Vespucci Airport is on the north side of the city and serves Florence and the region with an extensive range of flights to other parts of Italy and Europe.  The airport also provides general aviation services.  The airport's web site has Italian and English versions and offers information on a range of topics of interest to travelers.
