Welcome to the City and Province of Grosseto

The province of Grosseto is to the suth of Florence in the Tuscany region in the north-central area of Italy, north of Rome.  The web site for the province has information (only in Italian) on a variety of topics of local interest, including culture, travel and tourism.

Airport:   The Grosseto Baccharini Airport is to the west of Grosseto and provides general aviation services.  Florence Amerigo Vespucci Airport is on the north side of the city and serves Florence and the region with an extensive range of flights to other parts of Italy and Europe.  The airport also provides general aviation services.  The airport's web site has Italian and English versions and offers information on a range of topics of interest to travelers.  Florence is about 145 km north of Grosseto.  The Umbria Sant'Egidio Regional Airport near Perugia has scheduled flights to and from Milan and Olbia.
