Welcome to Friuli-Venezia Giulia

The official web site for the autonomous region of Friuli-Venezia Giulia has information (Italian) on a variety of government and regional topics.  There is a section that will be of interest to tourists with some knowledge of Italian.  There is also a good collection of links to tourist-related sites in the region.  The official tourism web site for this region has Italian, English and German versions and is a very good resource for travel planning.  The Austrian province of Carinthia (Kärnten) is adjacent to the north.

Visit our pages for the provinces of Gorizia, Pordenone, Trieste and Udine for local information on a variety of topics including travel and tourism.  These pages also have links web sites for many of the cities and towns in Friuli-Venezia Giulia to learn more about these communities and the places of interest in and around them.  Several have photogalleries that provide a visual appreciation of their attractions.
