Welcome to the Brussels (Bruxelles) Capital Region The web site for the Capital Region of Brussels has an extensive range of information (multi-lingual) about this area, including sections on historical, cultural, events and transportation, to assist with travel planning. This site also has a good mapping system, address locator, and links to route planning and mapping sites to assist with driving directions. The official web site for the City of Brussels is also multi-lingual and focuses on its particular part of the capital region. There are 18 other communities of the Brussels Capital Region. Their web sites are mostly in French and Dutch. The Woluwe-Saint-Pierre site has an English version. Some sites have limited information for visitors. La Grande-Place in Brussels and the Major Town Houses of the Architect Victor Horta (Brussels) have been declared as World Heritage Sites by UNESCO.
