TravelData21 has completed a platform on which to build a web site with content that will introduce travelers to the culture, history, people, and environment of places around the world. With more than 30,000 links on this web site to external web sites, travelers can access a vast range of information to enhance their traveling experience and make new discoveries.
To further expand content, TravelData21 now invites travelers with good writing and photography skills to become partners in the next phase. If you would like to participate but are not confident of your writing skills, consider taking a related course (on-line or in class) at one of your regional educational facilities.
At the present time, TravelData21 will only be accepting articles in English, but we look forward to hosting articles in other languages in the near future.
Essays can be submitted to earn income for the authors or to raise revenues for legitimate non-profit organizations. These proceeds will be realized from businesses and organizations that might wish to advertise on published pages. Links will be added to and from submitted articles to promote exposure of all related pages.
What is in it for writers and photographers? In addition to the hope that authors will enjoy having their work published, read and viewed by interested people who will benefit from their contributions we would like to see writers and photographers gain financial reimbursement for their work. In cases of people donating their essays and photographs to charities TravelData21 hopes they will have the satisfaction of knowing they are helping in vital areas.
Authors and photographers may be able to charge their travel costs as business expenses or charitable donations when they file their income tax forms, but TravelData21 strongly recommends that they consult with a qualified tax advisor to determine if their travel and other expenses would be valid for claims.
