The government of British Columbia web site is mainly for government affairs but also has links to other sites that will be of interest to visitors.  The official tourism site for British Columbia has information about important buildings in Victoria, including parliament, which is recommended for anyone planning to visit this city.

The DriveBC and the TransLink web sites published by the Ministry of Transportation have information on road conditions and transportation systems to assist with travel planning.

The Tourism British Columbia web site is a recommended starting point for planning a trip to this province.

UNESCO World Heritage Sites in British Columbia:  SGaang Gwai (Anthony Island) and the Canadian Rocky Mountain Parks.  The village of Ninstints (Nans Dins) is located on a small island off the west coast of the Queen Charlotte Islands (Haida Gwaii).  Part of the Kluane / Wrangell-St Elias / Glacier Bay / Tatshenshini-Alsek World Heritage Site is in British Columbia.

The BC Ferries web site provides information that will be of use to many people touring the western areas of the province.  The Washington State Ferries has a route from Anacortes to Sidney.  Other ferries operate from Port Angeles in Washington to Victoria.
