Airports:  Taipei (TPE) and Kaohsiung (KHH) are the major airports for international travel.  Other airports in Taiwan are located at Chi Yi, Chimei, Hengchan, Hua Lien, Lan Yu, Lu Tao, Makung, Taichung, Tainan and Taitung.

Time Zone: Current local time. Standard time is eight hours ahead of Greenwich Mean Time (GMT).
