Welcome to the Miyagi Prefecture
The Miyagi Prefecture is in the Tohoku Region which is at the northern end of Honshu, Japan's main island, to the north of Tokyo.
The official web site for the prefecture has an English version with information about the prefecture including tourism and transportation.

The Sendai Science Museum is one of the city's major attractions. The Sendai web site has information in English about the city, events, sightseeing, transportation and other museums. The Sendai Tourism and Convention Bureau is another good source of information (multi-lingual) for travel planning.
The Rikuchu-Kaigan National Park is in the Iwate and Miyagi prefectures.
