Welcome to the Fukushima Prefecture
The Fukushima Prefecture is in the Tohoku Region which is at the northern end of Honshu, Japan's main island, to the north of Tokyo.
The official web site for the prefecture has an English version with information about the prefecture including tourism and transportation.
The cities of Fukushima, Aizu Wakamatsu, Ina Washiro and Sukagawa have information in English to help visitors learn about their communities and to assist with travel planning.
The Nikko National Park and Nikko's World Heritage Site are in adjacent Tochigi prefecture.
Airport: Fukushima Airport has flights to other domestic airports.
