Welcome to the Tochigi Prefecture
Tochigi Prefecture is to the north of Tokyo in the Kanto Region which is centrally located on Honshu, Japan's principal island.
The official web site for the prefecture has an English version with information about the prefecture including tourism and transportation.
The Tochigi Tourist Association is a very good resource in English for discovering the attractions in the prefecture and for travel planning.
The Nikko Tourist Association has information in English about its area in northern Tochigi prefecture where the Nikko National Park and other attractions are located.
