Welcome to the Saitama Prefecture

Saitama Prefecture is on the north side of Tokyo in the Kanto Region which is centrally located on Honshu, Japan's principal island.

The official web site for the prefecture has an English version with information about the prefecture including tourism and transportation.  The prefecture's Saitama Tour Guide is a very useful source of information in English for discovering places of interest and events in the area.

The Saitama (city), Higashimatsuyma, Tsurugashima and Wako web sites have information in English about their cities and topics of interest.

The Chichibu-Tama-Kai National Park is in the Saitama and Yamanashi prefectures.
