Welcome to the Yamaguchi Prefecture
The Yamaguchi Prefecture is part of the Chugoku Region which is located at the southwestern end of the island of Honshu.
The official web site for the prefecture has an English version with information about the prefecture including tourism and transportation.
The Hofu, Hagi, Shimonoseki and Ube city web sites have information about their areas and places of interest.
The Setonaikai National Park is at the western end of the Seto Inland Sea to the south of Hiroshima and Yamaguchi prefectures.
Airport: The Yamaguchi-Ube Airport and Hagi-Iwame Airport have flights to other domestic airports. The official web site for the Yamaguchi-Ube Airport is only in Japanese at this time. The flight schedule is in English.
