Welcome to Mizoram

Aizawl is the state capital.  Mizoram is in the northeastern area of India.  The states of Assam and Manipur are to the north and Tripura adjoins on its northwestern border.  Bangladesh is on Mizoram's western border and Myanmar (Burma) is to the east and south.

The official web site for Mizoram provides a good introduction to the state and its people in addition to information about government affairs and other topics related to the state. 

The state's tourism web site is a very good source of information for planning travel to Mizoram.  In addition to descriptions of attractions, this site also has a useful map, weather reports and a clock with local time.
