Welcome to Haryana

Haryana and Punjab share Chandigarh as their capital.  Haryana is in the northwestern area of India.  Punjab, Himachal Pradesh and Uttaranchal are to the north, Rajasthan is to the west and south, and Delhi and Uttar Pradesh are to the east.

The Kalka Shimla Railway is on a tentative list for World Heritage Status by UNESCO.  It is almost entirely in Himachal Pradesh with the Kalka Terminus on the Haryana border.
