Welcome to Chhattisgarh

Raipur is the capital of the state.  Chhattisgarh is in the east-central area of India.  Uttar Pradesh and Jharkhand are to the north, Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra are to the west, Andhra Pradesh is to the south, and Orissa is to the east.

The official web site for the state of Chhattisgarh has links to a variety of government web sites, including tourism.  The official web site for tourism is a very good resource to assist with travel planning.  This site also has a useful map to help locate the many places of interest in the state.

Airport:  Raipur Airport handles domestic flights.  It is about 12 miles / 20 km south of the city.
