Municipalities in Liaoning:

The Dalian web site (English) is mostly related to economic development, but it has an article with an introduction to the city's history and other points of interest.

The Shenyang web site has Chinese and English versions.  The English version has introductory information about the area.

Heilongjian, Jilin and Liaoning are part of the northwestern region known as Dongbei and formerly referred to as Manchuria.

The Capital Cities and Tombs of the Ancient Koguryo Kingdom have been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.

The Great Wall in Liaoning, Jilin, Hebei, Beijing, Tianjin, Shanxi, Inner Mongolia, Shaanxi, Ningxia, Gansu, Xinjiang, Shandong, Henan, Hubei, Hunan, Sichuan and Qinghai provinces has been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.

The Niuheliang Archaeological Site in Chaoyang city has been submitted for World Heritage Status to UNESCO.

Airports:  Shenyang Taoxian International Airport has commercial passenger and cargo flights.  The airport's official web site has information in Chinese and English.

Dalian International Airport has domestic and international flights.  The airport's official web site has airline, flight and other information to assist passengers.

There are two other airports in the province at Anshan and Chaoyang.
