The Wulingyuan Scenic and Historic Interest Area in the Wulingyuan District of the City of Dayong has been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
The Heaven Pit and Ground Seam Scenic Spot, in the extension part of the upward and folded zone of Sichuan, Hubei, Hunan and Guizhou, has been submitted for World Heritage status to UNESCO.
Airport: There are airports at Changde and Changsha. The airport's official web site for Changsha is only in Chinese.
