The Mountain Resort and its Outlying Temples at Chengde have been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
The Great Wall in Liaoning, Jilin, Hebei, Beijing, Tianjin, Shanxi, Inner Mongolia, Shaanxi, Ningxia, Gansu, Xinjiang, Shandong, Henan, Hubei, Hunan, Sichuan and Qinghai provinces has been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
Anji Bridge, the Kaiyuan Temple Pagoda of Dingzhou City and the Lugou Bridge have been submitted for World Heritage Status to UNESCO.
Airports: There are airports at Qinhuangdao and Shijiazhuang.
